Upward Sports is a league where every child plays, every child is coached, and every child hears about Jesus. Teams are balanced through evaluations so games stay competitive and fun.
All practices and games are played at Palmetto Baptist Church, with practices during the week and games on Saturdays. No experience is necessary – we’ll teach the fundamentals from day one.

Coaches & Volunteers
Upward runs on volunteers – coaches, referees, concession help, and game-day hosts. You don’t need a basketball background. We provide practice plans, devotion guides, and a coaches’ clinic before the season starts.
All volunteers who work with children complete a background check and Palmetto’s child protection training.
