vision

Our vision is to lead people into a thriving relationship with Jesus Christ, and to build a vibrant community of believers in the areas of South Fulton, Coweta, and Fayette counties.

purpose

Our purpose is to love God and love others!

We do this by leading people to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ. This is done by helping them to connect with God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, connect with people who love Jesus, grow in their relationships with God and other people, and serve God by serving people in the world.

A church's beliefs are important to people who are looking for a church home.

d.…that Jesus died on a cross we deserved, and was raised from

the dead.

e.…that Jesus will return.

a.…that the Bible is God’s Word.

b.…that the Bible was written by human authors who were under the supernatural influence of the Holy Spirit.

c.…that the Bible is the supreme source of truth for the Christian.

5. What we believe in human beings.

a.…that human beings are made in the image of God.

b.…that human beings are the supreme objects of God’s creation.

c.…that, although human beings have tremendous potential for good, we are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called "sin". This attitude separates us from God.

6. We believe in salvation.

a.…that everybody needs salvation.

b.…that our salvation comes only through Jesus Christ, and cannot be earned. It is a gift from God.

c.…that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin.

d.…that God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.

e.…that salvation is permanent. Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.

7. We believe in the church.

a.…that the church is made up of people who know Jesus.

b.…that the church, as the body of Christ, is the extension of Jesus Christ's character, attitude, behavior, and mission in our world today.

c.…that the purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him, and by making Him known to the lost world.

d.…that people in the church should love each other.

a.…that all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves.

b.…that by obedience to God’s Word and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer can mature and be conformed to the image of Christ.

9. We believe in eternity.

a.…that human beings are created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life.

b.…that Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence.

10. We believe in baptism.

a.…that baptism symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

b.…that baptism takes place after a person receives Jesus Christ as Savior.

a.…that the Lord’s Supper was given to us by Jesus Christ to remember His sacrifice for us.

b.…that the bread and wine or juice are symbols of Christ’s broken body and shed blood.

c.…that the Lord’s Supper is not a means to salvation.

d.…that the Lord’s Supper shows our faith in the atoning work of the cross.
